James Recycling will be holding a Pop-Up at Raleigh Park Elementary School AND our partner, Valley Community Presbyterian Church, will be holding a collection event nearby on the same day and same time.
We’ve planned an amazing day for recycling that involves an impressive list of multiple community partners!
JAMES RECYCLING’S COLLECTION WILL BE HELD AT RALEIGH PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 3670 SW 78th Ave., Portland
JAMES RECYCLING will be collecting the following non-curbside items:
#1 PET with no color such as berry clamshells and salad containers
#2 HDPE such as Pak-Tek 6-pack holders and small white supplement bottles
#4 LDPE such as snap-on lids
#5 PP such as take-out containers, lids, and cups
NO SCREW-ON CAPS, STRAWS, UTENSILS, OR STYROFOAM (VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WILL BE COLLECTING STYROFOAM AND #6 PLASTIC AT THEIR EVENT)
Items need to be numbered #1, #2, #4, or #5, clean, and separated by number. Household plastics only, nothing larger than a basketball.

VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH’S EVENT WILL BE HELD AT THE TRI-MET LOT LOCATED AT 4218 SW Laurelwood Ave. Portland
VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN will be collecting the following materials through their community partners at no cost:
Electronics & batteries – SBC Recycling
Plastic bags & film – Fred Meyer
Furniture and household goods – Community Warehouse
Styrofoam & #6 (PS) plastic – Agilyx
Refundable bottles & cans – Valley Youth Group
Non-perishable foods – St. Matthew’s Food Pantry
Natural corks – New Seasons
Athletic shoes – Portland Running Company
Books – Discover Books
Textiles, usable and unusable (such as clothing & linens) – Just Porch It
