We will be accepting the following types of plastics:
#1 PET
#2 HDPE
#4 LDPE
#5 PP
Screw-on plastic caps
Straws & utensils
Cost is $4 per grocery bag, 12-bag limit, cash or checks only. All items must be cleaned, sorted, and bagged. Bag together numbered items by number, such as No. 1 clear plastic clamshells, to-go containers, and clear cups. For unnumbered plastics, bag together straws and utensils. Bag together all screw-on and flip-top plastic caps.
Do not bring Styrofoam, #6 PS plastics, compostable items, or Recology curbside recycling items. Sponsors are First Baptist, Mid-Columbia Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and Social and Environmental Justice Committee.
Hi Jenny, we will be taking supplement bottles, but they do need to be separated by number. Please note that we cannot take medicine/supplement bottles that are labeled #1PET unless they have no color (are clear). Thanks!
