McMinnville Plastic Project Recycling Event

Our James Recycling McMinnville satellite group is hosting a “Plastics Recycling Project” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 123 S.E. Cowls St., McMinnville

We will be accepting the following types of plastics:

#1 PET

#2 HDPE

#4 LDPE

#5 PP

#6 PS

Screw-on plastic caps

Straws & utensils

Bread clips

Cost is $4 per grocery gag, 12-bag limit, cash or checks only. All items must be cleaned, sorted, and bagged. Bag together numbered items by number, such as No. 1 clear plastic clamshells, to-go containers, and clear cups. For unnumbered plastics, bag together straws and utensils.   Bread bag clips must be bagged separately.  Bag together all screw-on and flip-top plastic caps.

Do not bring styrofoam, compostable items, or Recology curbside recycling items.  Sponsors are First Baptist, Mid-Columbia Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, and Social and Environmental Justice Committee.
